- Single computer-based test: Paper 1 (teaching/research aptitude) + Paper 2 (subject) → e-Certificate/JRF award

- Paper 1: general aptitude, Paper 2: chosen subject (psychology, education, commerce, management and many more)

- 100 (Paper 1) + 200 (Paper 2) in recent patterns
