How this information is compiled
You deserve a straight answer about where this data comes from. Here it is, without hedging.
The direct answer: is this data real or made up?
The career structures on this site — the typical route (for example, 12th → NEET → MBBS → internship), exam stages, syllabus areas, skills and education paths — are compiled from widely documented, publicly known information about Indian careers and national examinations. They are not invented, and no dates, fees, vacancies or cutoffs are fabricated anywhere on this site, because those are never listed at all.
But this is not official information, and it was not verified against each examining body's live website. It is a well-informed map, written to help you understand a path — not an authority you should act on. The official notification is always the authority.
What the date on each page means
Career and exam pages show “Information compiled: 2025-01”. That date records when this text was written and organised. It is not a claim that every official website was re-checked on that date, and it is not a promise the rules are unchanged today. Rules that commonly change between exam cycles — notification dates, application windows, fees, number of vacancies, cutoffs, and any year-specific age or attempt limits — are deliberately left off this site so that nothing can silently go stale here and mislead you. Those facts exist only in official notifications, and only for the cycle you apply in.
Across this version of the dataset: 70 careers and 31 major exams carry that compilation date.
What was checked, and what could not be
- Internal consistency — checked. Every career page was generated from the same structured dataset, and cross-references (related careers, exam links, category membership) were validated automatically so that no page links to something that does not exist.
- Official website links — pointers, not verified endpoints. Each page links to the body that actually runs the exam or profession (UPSC, SSC, NTA, IBPS, DGCA, NMC, ICAI, and so on). Note honestly: the server environment this site was built in could not reach many Indian government websites at all (connections timed out), so those links were collected and labelled rather than confirmed working. If a link fails from your side, search the organisation's name plus “official website” — the body itself is named on every page.
- Live rule-checking — not done. No official notification, gazette or prospectus was fetched and quoted during compilation. That is exactly why every page carries the standing banner asking you to verify at the source, and why volatile facts are absent.
