- Eligibility certification for teaching posts in central government schools (Paper I: classes 1–5; Paper II: classes 6–8).

- As per NCTE norms: senior secondary with the notified percentage plus a teacher-training qualification (D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed), or graduation with B.Ed/B.El.Ed for Paper II routes. Verify the current notice.

- Paper I (primary stage) and/or Paper II (elementary stage) → Eligibility certificate valid as per current rules

- Child development and pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and EVS (Paper I) or subject areas (Paper II)

- 150 marks per paper
